What is Roleva?
Roleva is an immersive AI roleplay platform. You pick a character card created by the community, step into its opening scene, and shape the story together with an AI character that stays in role.
Is Roleva free to use?
Yes. Every account gets a free credit grant each day, which covers casual play. Membership tiers add a larger daily grant, memory features, and more history storage. See Credits and membership.
What are credits?
Credits meter AI usage: each character reply consumes credits based on how much the AI reads and writes for that turn. Your balance refreshes with a free grant every day.
Why did the character forget something from earlier?
Very long conversations exceed what a model can re-read every turn. Membership includes advanced memory, which organizes key facts and scene context so long stories stay consistent, and memory across chats, which carries your preferences between conversations. Both are explained in Roleplay chat.
What is a mask?
A mask is your in-story identity — a name plus a short description of who you are in the scene. Characters address you by your mask. You can keep several masks and switch mid-conversation.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open My → Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription. Cancelling keeps benefits active until the end of the paid period; nothing is charged after that.
How do I use a redemption code?
Open My → Redeem membership, paste the code, and confirm. The matching membership tier activates immediately for the stated number of days. Each code can be used once.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Under My → Data & Privacy you can request a full data export (a download link arrives by email) or delete your account. Deletion deactivates the account immediately and permanently erases personal data after 30 days; you can cancel within those 30 days by logging back in.
Can I create my own characters?
Yes — character cards are built in Roleva Studio: story background, characters, chaptered scenes, opening messages, and recommended masks, with a review step before publishing. Start with Create and publish character cards.
Which languages does Roleva support?
The interface ships in English, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French. Character cards carry their own language tag, and creators can enable automatic translation of card titles and summaries.
