Getting started with Roleva

Roleva is built around character cards. Each card describes a character, a world, and an opening scene written by a creator. Starting a roleplay means opening a card and stepping into that scene.

Create your account

1. Open Roleva and choose Create account.
2. Enter your email, a username, and a password. Some early-access periods also ask for an invite code.
3. Log in. Your chats, favorites, and settings are saved to your account, so you can continue on any device.

You can browse the public feed without an account, but roleplay chats, favorites, and personalization require logging in.

Find a character card

• Home shows featured cards and a personalized feed once you start interacting.
• Explore lets you filter by category, tag, and card language, and sort by hot, new, or trending.
• Search finds characters by name, mood, or scene keyword — type at least two characters to start.

Open any card to read its story background, author's note, and opening scene before you commit.

Start your first roleplay

1. On a card page, review the Play as section. You act through a mask — a short description of who you are in the story.
2. Pick an existing mask or create a new one (a name plus a few lines of identity and personality).
3. Press Start roleplay. The character opens the scene, and every reply you send moves the story forward.
